Ingredients

  • 20 Meat filled Ravioli thawed
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • grated parmesan for garnish optional
  • marinara sauce or ranch for dipping

Instructions

  • Put flour in a small bowl, beat eggs and water in a second bowl, and mix bread crumbs with oregano, basil, and garlic salt in a third bowl.
  • Fill frying pan with vegetable oil (about 1/2 inch deep) and heat to 350 degrees.
  • While oil is heating, dip each ravioli into the flour, then into egg wash, and finally in the bread crumb mixture. Place breaded ravioli onto a plate to rest for a few minutes.
  • Carefully place ravioli into oil and fry until golden. This should only take a couple of minutes. They cook very quickly. Try not to overcrowd the pan. Fry them in batches.
  • Once finished cooking, place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain.
  • Sprinkle with grated parmesan and serve with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

Try substituting the cheese filled ravioli in place of the meat filled ravioli.
Use a fork in each bowl to make coating the ravioli easier and less messy.
