Apple and Cream Cheese Crescent Bake
I love desserts that have cream cheese in them. This particular dessert reminds me of a cream cheese danish, but with apples.
What do you need?
- crescent rolls
- cream cheese
- sugar
- vanilla extract
- apple pie filling
- unsalted butter
- cinnamon sugar mixture
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. You will need an 8 x 8 inch baking dish. Lightly spray the baking dish with cooking spray.
Start by mixing the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together. The cream cheese should be softened, so you can easily do this by hand in a mixing bowl.
Unroll the crescent rolls and separate them into even halves. Place the first half in the bottom of your baking dish and gently press the seams together.
Next, evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on the crescent rolls.
Pour the apple pie filling over the cream cheese mixture.
Top the apples with the other half of the crescent rolls and gently press the seams together.
Pour the melted butter over the top.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until golden brown.
Be sure to let it cool long enough to let the filling set before cutting into it.
If you don’t want to use the apple pie filling, you can most definitely substitute it for another pie filling, such as strawberry, cherry, or blueberry.
This will easily be one of the quickest and simplest desserts you ever make. Enjoy!
